Clearline Websites
Service Agreement
Last updated: October 1, 2026
The terms for working with us, in plain English. If anything here is unclear, just ask.
In this agreement, “we” and “us” means Clearline Websites, and “you” means the business we build a website for.
-
Price
Your website has a one-time fee of $100 to $300, depending on the size of the site. Your exact price is the one quoted in your proposal or invoice. The fee includes your domain name for the first year, at no extra charge.
-
Hosting
Hosting is required and costs $10 per month. It includes 2 small edits per month, like updating text, changing your hours, or swapping photos.
Hosting also covers your domain renewal. Your domain keeps renewing as long as your hosting is active.
Bigger changes, or edits beyond the 2 included each month, are quoted separately. We only do that work after you approve the quote.
-
Payment and late payment
If your hosting goes unpaid for 7 days, your site may be paused until payment is received. Once you pay, your site is restored.
-
Cancellation
You can cancel hosting anytime. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for, and your site comes down after that.
-
Ownership
You own your business content, logo, and photos.
We register and manage your domain name for you as part of the service. You can ask us to transfer it to you at any time, and we will.
You're responsible for having the rights to anything you give us to use, like text, logos, and photos.
-
Refunds
If you'd like a refund before your site goes live, you'll get a full refund of the website fee. After your site launches, the website fee is not refundable.
-
Revisions before launch
A reasonable round of revisions is included before your site launches.
-
No guarantee of rankings or sales
We can't guarantee specific search rankings or sales.
-
Limitation of liability
Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the last 3 months.
-
Agreement
By paying your invoice, you accept these terms.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
